There are clashes every week as demonstrators protest the security barrier Israel is building near Bilin, a the West Bank village. This time the NaÂvi came and so did the world's Hollywood obsessed media. The rest is viral as they say.
Normally the media yawns at these protests. But now the protesters have changed things up, painting themselves bright blue and wearing loinclothes, pointy ears and tails - drawing a parallel between the situation of the Palestinians and the oppressed characters in the blockbuster "Avatar."
The video (above) of last Friday's protest, was posted on the Web site of the International Solidarity Movement which explained that the protesters were Palestinian, Israeli and international activists.
