Yoani Sanchez asks public to pressure Fariñas to abandon hunger strike

The renowned Cuban blogger, Yoani Sanchez, has asked the Cuban public to pressure
independent journalist, Guillermo Fariñas, into giving up his hunger strike.

Sanchez, writing on Twitter said, "If Fariñas decides to continue with his
hunger strike then it is up to us to pressure Cuban public opinion so that
they do not let him die".

Cuban bloggers, according to Sanchez, are currently visiting Fariñas to ask
him to end his hunger strike.

Fariñas, who has been on hunger strike since February 24, has refused exile
in Spain.
